We receive, collect and store information you enter on our website or which you provide to us using any other means.

In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet and view our website, sometimes details of your computer and connection information are stored, see below.

 

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. 

We also collect personally identifiable information (name, email, message content) but only if you contact us; if you leave comments on the website, feedback, product reviews, recommendations then those are stored too.

If you make a purchase we process the payment with third party payment processors and store the details of the payment and who made the payment, this may include ways to contact the payer. 

If you use the Verdict application in our software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode it will store whatever information you upload to it, for the either the time you are a paying customer or for as long as you allow the data to be inside your private Verdict instance. You control what data is uploaded to Verdict SaaS and you control how long it is stored in your Verdict SaaS instance or instances if you have more than one instance.

No information is provided to third parties other than those mentioned here and we never sell this information.

The period of time we retain data

Unless otherwise required to by law, we store customer and communications related data for as long as communications are ongoing between you and our company and/or for a calendar year after communications have ceased unless you have opted out, in which case the details are removed within 90 working days of the request being received. 

Data you upload to Verdict SaaS is there for as long as you choose, or for the time you are a paying customer. When you cease each Verdict SaaS subscription all data is deleted.

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to market our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind things like firewalls and they use other technical controls.  

The Verdict SaaS application does not use Wix.com, Verdict SaaS is only paid for via the Wix.com hosted, once the successful payment and account setup process is completed you receive details of the your private Verdict SaaS instance which is not hosted on Wix.com. See below for more details. 

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our website adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Payment processing may make use of Paypal.com, it is your decision alone to make a payment via such methods.

Non-EEA Countries

Sometimes our website, using Wix.com, serves web pages form Non-EEA countries, this is quite normal on the internet, Wix.com may provide services from Non-EEA countries which you interact with or which we use for our services and this means the data described in this Privacy Policy may be stored or processed there, the Non-EEA countries are:

For these purposes we may contact you via the means you have agreed to, or we may communicate to Visitors and Users using notices on our website.

Verdict SaaS Instances

When you make a purchase and decide to use Verdict SaaS versions, (SaaS instance(s)), this creates a version of Verdict purely for your use and is not shared with other customers. 

These private Verdict SaaS instances are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Every time you pay for a new instance you are sent your Verdict SaaS login details via the email you registered with. You are then in control of your Verdict SaaS instance; you decide who you provide user accounts too, the API credentials, the data you and your chosen users upload and download, To use Verdict SaaS you must comply with Verdict's licence terms and its acceptable use policy, which is separate to this privacy policy. The data you upload to Verdict SaaS is private and not accessed by Verdict staff unless you ask us to as part of a Support request.

Verdict also offers an even more private software version for use on your own premises, that is not Verdict SaaS.
